"You got us exactly what we wanted for our home."
"Michael and I would like to thank you for all your help in the recent sale of our home. Several years ago we met you at an Open House and decided to have you evaluate ourhome as we were considering selling. At the time we had no idea that we would be entering a long-term relationship with you. You sold our first home very quickly and you were able to get us more than we expected. You also helped us find a house that was perfect for us and our needs. At times when maybe we were willing to consider homes that had concerns for our family, you would always clarify those concerns and help redirect us. That always impressed us. You acted as more than our realtor and more like a friend. You carried us through that process easily and our first selling experience went flawlessly. As our family has grown and our needs changed, we began to consider selling. We wondered if we could afford to build the house of our dreams. We thought about it for a while and once we thought we were serious about moving we knew exactly who to call. You were eager to help us and discussed all the issues with us as not a realtor but a concerned friend. Obviously selling a home can be a stressful experience, especially with two young children in the picture. Having to show the home and keep it neat with two little ones was not always easy! But you always made this process eaiser by making yourself available and allowing us to set limits so that we could put our family's needs first as we still needed to live there. This was something that was very important and made the "showing" experience much easier. And once again you did what we had hoped for. You got us exactly what we wanted for our home and have helped us in our dream of building.. You also worked with us to obtain a great mortgage rate. In fact, we can't thank you enough for your connection as no one could compare with your referral of Coldwell Banker Mortgage. Although we have yet to move into our home, we know that we are going to be very happy there and we have to thak you for helping us to realize our dream. You are wonderful at what you do, but more importantly, you are a very kind and caring person. We are very glad we took a chance with you several years ago at that open house! Michael and I both thank you for all your help, guidance, and genuine friendship. Coldwell Banker is lucky to have you working for them"

First Time Buyers >Getting Organized
Looking at homes can become overwhelming for many prospective buyers. The properties start to run together, and you have trouble remembering which homes you liked a lot and which ones you didn't. Real estate agents use a few tricks that can help you remember what you have seen.
Usually the real estate agent will give you a copy of the listing with all the pertinent information. Write down one distinctive feature on the listing sheet that will help you remember the house. Maybe the house had unusual moldings in the dining room, a red door, or unusual wallpaper. If the house was particularly interesting to you, put a big star on the top of the page to remind yourself that you would like to see it again or even perhaps make an offer. If there are features for which you have a strong preference, or if you eliminate a house from consideration for any reason, be sure to tell the agent why.
Communication between you and the real estate agent is key. This will save you a lot of time and effort in your search because the agent will show you only the homes that meet your particular needs.
